Cancellation Policy

SVTech Consulting Services (“SVTech,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) delivers all consulting and digital services by appointment through remote channels. This Cancellation Policy explains when and how a client may cancel or reschedule a booking, and what fees or remedies apply. The policy aligns with industry best practices, consumer-protection laws, and Stripe’s Terms of Service.
1 Scope
This policy covers:
- One-on-one consulting calls or video sessions
- Strategy workshops and training webinars
- Multi-session packages or retainers booked directly with SVTech and paid via Stripe
2 Standard Cancellation Window
- 24-Hour Rule – You may cancel or reschedule without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Same-Day Bookings – If you book a session less than 24 hours in advance, the window for penalty-free cancellation is 2 hours from the time of booking (provided the session has not yet started).
- Group Events/Webinars – Cancellations are accepted until 48 hours before the event start time.
3 How to Cancel or Reschedule
- Email mike@svtechconsultingservices.com with the subject “Cancellation – [Invoice ID]”.
- Include the date, time, and name of the service.
- We will confirm the cancellation or new slot within 1 business day.
- If a refund or credit is due, it is processed under our Refund Policy.
4 Late Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancelling less than 24 hours before the start time (or missing the session entirely) counts as a Late Cancellation / No-Show.
- Remedies:
- Single Session: Fee is forfeited; no refund or credit.
- Multi-Session Package: Session is marked “used.” Remaining sessions stay intact.
- We record two No-Shows within any rolling 90-day period as an account flag; further bookings may require pre-payment or may be declined.
5 Emergency Exceptions
If verifiable emergencies (e.g., sudden illness, family crisis, regional power outage) prevent attendance, notify us within 48 hours after the missed session. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a complimentary reschedule or partial credit.
6 Force Majeure
Events beyond either party’s control (natural disasters, widespread internet outage, governmental restrictions) suspend our performance obligations. We will reschedule the affected session at the earliest mutual convenience without extra fees.
7 Multi-Session Packages & Retainers
- Unused sessions may be rescheduled within the package term (typically 6 months from purchase), subject to availability.
- Early termination of a package by the client triggers a pro-rated refund minus any used sessions and a 10 % administrative fee to cover scheduling and Stripe processing costs.
8 Reinstatement
Clients flagged for repeated Late Cancellations/No-Shows may request reinstatement after 60 days. Approval is at SVTech’s discretion and may require pre-payment of future sessions.
9 Dispute Escalation
If you disagree with an outcome under this policy, reply to the decision email within 5 business days with supporting evidence. A senior manager will issue a final determination within 5 business days. Initiating a chargeback through your bank or Stripe without first following this process may result in permanent account suspension.
10 Policy Updates
We may modify this Cancellation Policy at any time to reflect operational changes or legal requirements. Material updates take effect 14 days after posting. Continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance.
